Megan Morrison

Applied Mathematician
Courant Institute, New York University

I'm a postdoc working under the supervision of Lai-Sang Young at the Courant Institute. I work on data-driven dynamical systems models of C. elegans neural activity and its impact on behavior.

I received my Ph.D. from the Applied Mathematics department at the University of Washington working with
J. Nathan Kutz. I worked on methods for networked dynamical systems with applications to neural and social networks.

My research interests lie at the intersection of systems neuroscience and dynamical systems.  I am interested in developing data-driven methods to characterize and control emergent activity in complex biological neural networks.
